Paul JJ Payack

PAUL JJ PAYACK (contributing blogger) actually has two middle names. Claims that the JJ’s stand for Jeremiah Jehoshaphat are largely unsubstantiated. His Bucknell career spanned 1968-1971, during which he served as Literary Editor for the Bucknellian. His poetry and collage narratives have appeared in The Paris Review and New Letters, amongst other journals, and he most recently authored the book A Million Words and Counting. Over his career, he’s helped create technologies, companies, and global brands, with his most recent venture being The Global Language Monitor which he founded in 2003 in California and has since moved to Austin. While wearing a Bucknell cap around Austin,  he was once asked, “Bucknell, what is THAT?”
