National Poetry Month Day 15: Your Weekly Poetry Challenge, Take Two!

Write a prose poem that is inspired by and/or takes the shape of something that is not 8 ½ by 11-sized printer paper.

OR

Calculate/measure/derive something – anything! – and write a poem following these measurements.

OR

Write a series of poems that wrestle with a particular ideology. Or – even better – write poems that wrestle with different ideologies brought up in other works you’ve read. Too much meat  indigestion.

OR

Write a poem that has a strange, abrupt turn at the end

OR

Write a poem about waiting. Or about shitting. Or about waiting to shit.

OR

Write a bunch of poems that may be considered a project.

OR

Write a poem that rejects all notions of the “project.”
