DEAR JUNIE: an AFTERWORD with Nick McRae, Younger Poet ’08


Nick McRae is the author of Mountain Redemption (Black Lawrence Press, 2013) and Moravia (Folded Word Press, 2013). Recent poems appear in Hayden’s Ferry Review, Linebreak, The Southern Review, Third Coast, and other journals and anthologies. In 2008, he received a fellowship from the Bucknell Seminar for Younger Poets. He has recently been a Tennessee Williams Scholar in Poetry at the Sewanee Writers’ Conference, a finalist for the Ruth Lilly Poetry Fellowship from the Poetry Foundation, and a semi-finalist for the Vassar Miller Prize in Poetry and the Crab Orchard Series in Poetry. Nick studies poetry in the MFA program and teaches creative and analytical writing at The Ohio State University.
